Ac is your “calm place in a crazy world”.   It’s a unique variety show that accentuates the positive, featuring good news, comedy and laughter, inspiring guests, and easy, practical ways you can reduce stress, be healthy, and simply enjoy life more.  A moment of laughter and joy is more productive than an hour of worry.  So if you need to just relax, have a few laughs, and get away from it all, Eye of the Storm is that comforting sanctuary you’re looking for.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been interested in healing work.  As soon as I attained my Master’s in psychology, I enrolled in Chinese Medical school to study acupuncture and herbal medicine so I could offer treatments that worked on body, mind and spirit, since all levels must be addressed for true healing to occur.  In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist I’m also a certified aromatherapist and author of The Best of All Worlds:  A Complete Culinary Guide for Feeling Great, Staying Young, and Saving the Earth.   I created Eye of the Storm: Your Calm Place in a Crazy World because stress is one of the main causes of illness.  Oftentimes we focus more on our problems (or other people’s problems) and what’s wrong than on what’s right.  Even some of our attempts at healing have the tendency to focus us too much on what isn’t working.  As a wise man once said, “you don’t always have to shovel out the darkness, sometimes you just need to turn up the light”.  That’s what I want to do on Eye of the Storm, because occasionally we need to just take a break---to get away from it all---to be reminded that there are good things happening out there in the world---to laugh and not take everything so seriously—to be reminded to do the simple things that nourish us and to just have fun!  Laughter….encouragement….joy….love ---that is the best medicine!  info@eyeofthestorm.co
