 This show is where science and spirituality merge. As a society today, we are suffering more than ever from diseases of lifestyle, it is time to ask ourselves why?  To look beyond just the physical and understand how our mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic aspects interact to create health and healing.  Chronic illness is a manifestation of living our lives out of balance individually, as well as globally.  This show will look at how we create optimal healing within the body through engaging and understanding of the mind/body/spirit connection.   We will discuss the science and research being done in fields such as Mind/Body Medicine, Energy Medicine and other integrative disciplines. As well as explore facets of healing from all perspectives, as true health is only found through the balance of all dimensions of self.  Through education and discussion we will empower the listeners by giving them self healing tools to create lasting health and wellness.

About the Host

As a Certified Exercise Physiologist, Energy Healer and  Mind/Body Educator for persons with chronic illness, Angela understands the importance of creating balance within the body. For the past ten years, Angela Levesque has been avidly seeking out information on the body's natural healing system and the mind/body/spirit connection. Her aim is to bridge the gap between our current western medical system and evidence based spiritual and metaphysical practices. Angela has complemented her clinical knowledge of the body by becoming a Reiki Master, a student of Healing Touch and has completed training in Mind/Body Medicine through Harvard Medical Continuing Education.  Angela also teaches classes in meditation, mind/body weight loss and mind/body medicine for cancer survivorship.  She is currently working on her first book about healing chronic illness through the mind/body/spirit connection.

I hadn’t put much thought into the colors or design of my home until recently.  My husband and I reno’d our bathroom and since then I’ve had the design bug. Sounds have been correlated to the periodic chart of elements, so everything that you listen to can be compared to the energy of nutrients, medicine and so on. Two waves that are the same frequency transfer energy - that is science. So you can listen to the frequency of a healthy muscle to hasten its repair.

You may have interest in interviewing Sharry Edwards, who developed BioAcoustics....a science of healing the body with sound! 

I am a musician and have composed 6 soundhealing CDs. I combine science and spirituality. I have studies around the globe at ancient mystery schools and use many ancient sound healing methods in my books, talks and music!

Dear Angela Levesque,

I would love to be a guest on your radio program for October's Breast Cancer Awareness or November's Cancer Awareness Month.  My unique story of spirituality and science merging would be a great fit for your program. I have been on the Dr. Pat Show and I’m scheduled for The Dr. Bernie Siegel show in January.

I survived aggressive breast cancer—twice—that was missed by physicians at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and scientific tests on which they relied. However, my dreams, inner guidance and female intuition empowered me with signs, symbols and information to get tests that validated my dreams and found the cancer. My first cancer was stage 2, the second was stage 4. The chances of my dreams finding cancer missed by “state of the art tests” twice is as lucky as winning the lottery two times in a row. Luck had little to do with it. Celestial information did. When we are in crisis, we are never alone!

 I survived by self-advocating and used something many in the medical field do not even acknowledge as being real, My innate intuition- Female Instinct! When our instincts conflict with conventional science/testing in the fight against cancer/illness, what can you do to get the treatment you know you need to survive?

My mission is to share my story and help others survive any crisis during a time of great emotional, spiritual, financial and medical shift. I have now been cancer free for 13 and 7 years, respectively.
