Comment by Simon Paul Harrison on February 25, 2012 at 3:59pm Simon Paul Harrison here, author of The Truly Alive Child: For Those Who Seek A Grander Vision For Our Children. (Please see book and author description below)
My passion is to share with people powerful yet simple tools and techniques that:
We are all born with a pure and true connection to the flow of life. But this is quickly eroded as modern society teaches us to abandon our natural state and seek refuge in bigger, better, faster and more.
By looking deeply and re-connecting with nature we can once again find the compassion, love and freedom that is who we really are.
For more information about Simon's work and book please visit: http://www.simonpaulharrison.com
Book description:
The Truly Alive Child provides powerful tools and techniques for all adults to support children in re-connecting with child-like wonder, love for learning and natural creativity. The tools include honoring uniqueness, developing deep relationships with nature, embracing the “real” child and many more. Education and parenting are explored from a holistic point of view, including how all adults can play a conscious role in creating environments that promote inner peace and compassion.
Author Bio
Simon Paul Harrison is the author of The Truly Alive Child, a visionary and life-changing book, and the founder and director of Wild Earth's Children, a non-profit dedicated to re-connecting people to nature.
Simon began working with children as an elementary school teacher in his native England. After a number of years he came to America to learn from world-renowned tracker and survivalist Tom Brown Jr. Simon fell in love with the natural world and never looked back.
He worked for Tom Brown’s Tracker School before becoming the director of The Children of The Earth Foundation (COTEF), a non-profit that Tom founded to lead children back to the Earth. Simon enjoyed a number of successful years with COTEF, teaching all over North America, including Alaska, New England, and the Cree Nation in Quebec.
Simon felt the calling of his vision urging him westwards where he founded Wild Earth’s Children and wrote The Truly Alive Child. He lives in Colorado with his wife Katherine.
Kimberly Burnham here, This is an exericse I like using called the two point technique from Matrix Energetics. This is the guided exercise -- one of several I will be doing on Krystalya Maire's show Oct 19 on Improving sensory perception, connection and Autism symptoms.
"Look around the room, notice the colors, shapes, temperature, how you feel in the room. Then notice you hands, how they feel, the warmth, the texture of the skin. Now focus on your body and the area around your body. What two places draw your attention? These can be places that you want more comfort or function but can be anywhere. Place a hand on each of the interesting places you choose. Now feel how you hand changes and what you notice about the places you have put your hands. Does each hand feel the same as the other or are they very different in terms of temperature, texture, energy? What does each place feel like? What does the texture of your clothing or skin feel like? Is there any air between your hand and your body? Do you notice any pulsing, rhythms or movement inside your body? Notice as much detail as you can about the places you have put your hands.
Now keeping your hands on the two places draw your attention to a small thing in the room or space where you are. Describe in detail that item, out loud to me or if you do this exercise as self-care to yourself or someone else. What shape, color or design does it have? It you were to tap on it what would it sound like? What size is it? Does it have a smell or a taste? Details, details tell me all the details.
Now draw your attention back to your hands. What has changed? Has what you notice about the two places changed? Has the texture, temperature, movement or rhythm changed?
What has changed about your feeling in and about the room or space you are in. Is the room brighter? Warmer? Cooler? Noisier? Notice the differences since you paid attention to the feelings at the beginning of the session.
Now move the areas of you body that you touched as part of the two point. How is the movement different? Is it more comfortable? More fluid? More energetic and vibrant?
How have you benefitted from this practice?"

Comment by Shuem Soul Experience HOST on March 31, 2011 at 2:14pm Hi everyone,
When I discovered Shuem Healing about 15 years ago it changed my life radically in a very positive way. Since then I've given thousands of healings and teach classes on shamanism and attention management within a Professional Healer Training. Students experience this energetic point of view on living as a very practical way to explore wider states of consciousness and being.
Shamanic Healing is the most powerful healing I've encountered and you could say I cry away the deepest tears for my clients so their burden gets lighter and they can handle life more easily and joyfully.
You can read more about it on http://shuem.eu.
Stefan is founder of The Professional Healer Training in the Netherlands.
Comment by Pegi Burdick on March 30, 2011 at 10:00am Hello...
I am a Coach in Los Angeles where I help people separate their emotions from their money. I have focused primarily on Women for the last four years and now have started to work with men and couples.
In our workshops and private sessions we tackle really delicate issues like Shame, Isolation, Repressed Anger, Self-Sabotage and 16 other topics. At the end of the day, of course, it's really not about the money.
I always give someone an hour of my time for free to make sure we are a good fit or just to give them perspective.
My first book is due out June 2011.
